“I am giddy about the details…”

I love to create memories, focusing on details worth remembering. Put me at a birthday party for one of my children, a Thanksgiving dinner for close friends, a baby shower for my sister; I am giddy about the details! If you’ve ever been to an occasion at my home, or maybe a guest at Sweet CeCe’s, when decorating for every holiday was as important as the frozen yogurt and treats served, you can remember it because it was worth remembering!

My love for beautiful tables began when I was introduced to decorating tables as a young girl from my neighbor, Lucy Grogan. Mrs. Grogan hired me to polish her silver, because that’s what people did when planning a party! Before I was ten, she taught me the correct placement for napkins with napkin rings, forks and flowers. The next day, as she worked in her garden, she would tell me how her guests “ooh”ed and “ahh”ed over the table.

I will go to the ends of the earth for that one added detail to remember. It doesn’t have to be elaborate or expensive. I like nice things, but I am cost conscious. The Occasional Tables was created for the hostess that likes nice things ... loves details ... probably can buy table-settings for every occasion, but is also practical and savvy.

Before The Occasional Tables, I didn’t have time to entertain. Renting my Tablescape was so easy, I could relax and enjoy the evening! We finally could invite friends over, and clean up was a breeze; not to mention, my table was gorgeous!
